Littlehampton Museum is in the heart of the town centre and offers a fascinating insight into the community’s social history through a variety of exciting galleries showcasing local people’s collections and archaeological treasures.
Explore our maritime gallery to learn about sunken shipwrecks…take a peek in our Victorian case at a 100 yr old nightdress…our Roman silver coin hoard will amaze young and old alike, plus learn about the people living in Littlehampton 2 thousand years ago.
We also have a lively temporary exhibition programme, featuring the work of local artists and school groups, as well as showcasing the museum’s collection throughout the year – pop in to pick up the exhibition programme.
The museum has an active education and outreach service, as well an established programme of activities for the kids every school holiday!
We are open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturdays. Admission and helpful advice is all FREE so come along and enjoy a visit to your local family museum.
